Prince Jack lived by the sea, in a very old castle, with his father the King, his mother the Queen, his little sister, Princess Zetra, and the big, smelly ogre they called Kem-Kem. |

Lucia Ginesin is the mother of two, Zack and Petra; she based the characters in the book on her family members, including ogre Kem-Kem, who is loosely based on the family dog. Zack Ginesin has been a talented and prolific artist since he was two years old. |
